QA Engineer and Test Automation Specialist for the ERP project (0.8 to 1.0 FTE)

Volkers is a family business that has been working for a hundred years on solutions within the design to publish process for brands and manufacturers. We are currently building a new ERP platform that replaces two existing systems and is linked to internal and external applications. In doing so, we are increasingly using AI to make processes smarter and accelerate test work. To keep quality high, we are looking for a QA Engineer and Test Automation Specialist who draws energy from accuracy, automation and smart improvements.

What you're going to do

As our QA Engineer, you will:

• Design, execute and maintain the complete test strategy

• Build automated UI and API tests with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright

• Perform manual functional, integration, and end to end tests

• Improving the quality, testability and stability of the front end

• Collaborate intensively with developers, product owner and other colleagues

• Ensuring that each release is stable and reliable

• Play an important role in validating new features before they go to users

Based on your experience, you can also contribute to UI, UX and AI improvements, such as thinking about wireframes or minor front end adjustments.

What you bring

• Experience with testing complex systems such as an ERP environment

• Proficiency in test automation and JavaScript for UI and API

• A structured, proactive and quality-oriented way of working

• Experience with front end development in Vue

• Experience with CI CD via GitHub Actions

• Experience with API testing

• Experience with performance testing and profiling

• UI and UX experience

• SQL knowledge

• Understanding of Agile principles and a flexible way of working together

• ISTQB or TMAP certificate
