What you will do

At Volvo Group Digital & IT - Manufacturing Supply Chain and Purchase Organization, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. You will:

• Perform Business value-oriented design of digital products, applications, and components - including services and IT infrastructure.
• Design and document IT integration solutions leveraging appropriate platforms, support services, methodologies, and guidelines.
• Design application architecture that guides product development, emphasizing the reuse of business components and adherence to modern architectural principles aligned with the North Star principles and vision.
• Ensure alignment with Volvo Group Security directives while meeting customer requirements for information security.
• Transform business needs into IT architecture, illustrated through relevant design and architecture artifacts.
• Analyse functional requirements and define corresponding non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture practices and Target Architecture development by addressing technical aspects of Enterprise Architecture and securing consistency with Business and Information architecture.
• Collaborate across various stages of the Business Architecture Framework to create artifacts that define business capabilities and their realization within the solution.
• Ensure usage of shared technical standards, tools, and platforms.
• Define and integrate AI solutions into enterprise architecture by aligning AI strategies with business goals, ensuring scalability, compliance, and seamless integration with existing systems.

Essential requirements:

• Strong knowledge in Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge in Cloud & Edge Architecture, Microservices, Distributed Systems & Event-Driven Design, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong knowledge in Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (OpenShift, AKS)
• Deep experience in DevOps & Automation such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD, YAML, PowerShell, Azure CLI
• Experience with Databases: MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server
• Background Language expertise: C#, .NET, .NET Core & Framework
• Strong exposure to APIs REST
• Nice to have knowledge within AI: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Foundry
