Position Overview

As Technical Delivery & QC Specialist, you manage and validate audiovisual content deliveries across multiple international platforms and broadcasters. You ensure that video, audio and subtitle materials meet technical specifications and distribution standards. The position is available for a minimum of 24 hours per week, with a preference for candidates based in the Utrecht region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed QC of digital media assets, including video, audio and subtitle synchronization, ensuring compliance with client and platform specifications.

• Conduct technical QC using industry-standard software to validate video and audio integrity and identify issues for corrective action.

• Serve as the technical contact for external partners regarding delivery requirements and technical specifications. • Implement preventive and corrective measures to maintain consistent delivery quality.

• Organize, maintain and manage media archives and delivery packages.

• Manage workflows for encoding, export presets, multilingual subtitles (SRT, STL) and structured file naming conventions.

• Prepare, send and track cinema deliverables and screening files.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure localization requirements are met and workflows run efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience within broadcast, post-production or media distribution environments is preferred.

• A degree in Media Design, Production, Broadcast or a related field is a plus.

• Strong understanding of professional video formats, codecs, containers and quality standards across broadcast and VOD platforms.

• Working knowledge of audio specifications, including channel mapping and multichannel configurations.

• Familiarity with subtitle formatting and compliance requirements.

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted QC, metadata extraction or automated fulfilment platforms is a plus.

• Strong English communication skills, as OUTtv operates in more than 38 countries and works with international partners and platforms.

Functieomschrijving

Als Technical Delivery & QC Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren en controleren van audiovisuele contentleveringen voor internationale platforms en broadcasters. Je zorgt ervoor dat video-, audio- en ondertitelbestanden voldoen aan alle technische specificaties en distributiestandaarden.vDe functie is beschikbaar voor minimaal 24 uur per week. Bij voorkeur woon je in de regio Utrecht.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

• Uitvoeren van gedetailleerde QC-controles op digitale media-assets, inclusief video, audio en synchronisatie van ondertitels.

• Technische QC uitvoeren met industry-standard software om video- en audio-integriteit te controleren en eventuele problemen te signaleren.

• Fungeren als technisch aanspreekpunt voor externe partners met betrekking tot delivery-eisen en technische specificaties. • Preventieve en corrigerende maatregelen implementeren om consistente kwaliteit van deliveries te waarborgen.

• Organiseren en beheren van media-archieven en delivery packages.

• Beheren van workflows voor encoding, export presets, meertalige ondertitels (SRT, STL) en gestructureerde bestandsnamen.

• Voorbereiden, versturen en volgen van bioscoopdeliverables en screening files.

• Samenwerken met interne teams om te zorgen dat lokalisatie-eisen correct worden uitgevoerd en workflows efficiënt verlopen.

Vereisten

• Werkervaring binnen broadcast, post-productie of media distributie is een pré.

• Een opleiding in Media Design, Productie, Broadcast of een vergelijkbare richting is een plus.

• Sterk begrip van professionele videoformaten, codecs, containers en kwaliteitsstandaarden voor broadcast en VOD-platformen.

• Kennis van audiospecificaties, inclusief channel mapping en multichannel configuraties.

• Bekendheid met ondertitelformaten en compliance-vereisten.

• Ervaring met Adobe Premiere Pro of vergelijkbare software.

• Ervaring met AI-assisted QC, metadata extractie of geautomatiseerde fulfilment platforms is een plus.

• Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal, omdat OUTtv actief is in meer dan 38 landen en dagelijks samenwerkt met internationale partners.
