Your role

As a Medior Backend Engineer, you will develop and improve backend functionality on our Videoland platform. You'll have the space to build independently while continuing to grow your skills.

On-call duties are part of this role.

Additionally, where relevant, AI is applied within our solutions and ways of working - you'll have the opportunity to learn and work with it actively.

Your profile

· You have 3-5 years of experience as a backend engineer.

· You have solid knowledge of C# and the .NET framework.

· You write clear, maintainable code that solves business problems.

· You have experience with or interest in automated testing, CI/CD, and modern development practices.

· You are open to feedback and use it to improve yourself.

· You are eager to learn and want to grow toward a senior role.

· You work in a structured way and take ownership of your work.

· You enjoy collaborating and communicating clearly with colleagues.

· You are curious about new technologies, such as AI and developer tooling.

· You are based in the Netherlands and available to work at least 2 days per week from our office in Hilversum.

Your team

You will work in a close-knit team of 4 colleagues: 3 developers and 1 Product Owner. Together, you are end-to-end responsible for your product.

The team's mission is to grow the user base of our Videoland platform, making it the number one streaming platform in the Netherlands. The focus of the work is on adding and maintaining integrations between the Videoland platform and our partners.

We collaborate closely with other teams and believe in a culture of teamwork, openness, and continuous improvement.
