Job Description

Medior/Senior Digital Marketeer

Full-time / Part-time · Utrecht

Wie we zoeken?

Jij zit ertussenin. Hands on, slim en ambitieus.

We bieden jou:

Company Information

Company Name: Stoov

Company Website: https://stoov.com

Company Address: N/A

Stoov is a commercial hardware and consumer-technology company that designs, manufactures and markets electrically heated personal comfort products. The company’s core business centers on compact, portable heating devices intended to provide localized warmth for individuals rather than heating whole rooms. Stoov’s product approach combines lightweight heating elements, user-oriented industrial design, battery and power-pack integration, textile engineering and consumer electronics controls to deliver small-form-factor heating solutions for home, office, travel and outdoor use. The company positions its offerings as energy-efficient, transportable alternatives to central heating when the user requires direct, immediate warmth — for example while sitting at a desk, working from home, traveling, or resting on a sofa — and aims to reduce overall energy consumption by providing targeted heating. Stoov’s main products and product lines typically include heated seat pads and cushions, lap warmers, compact foot and lower-leg warmers, and portable heating packs or power modules that supply the heating elements. The products are designed to be comfortable against the body, often incorporating soft outer fabrics, washable covers, and internal heating layers that distribute heat evenly. Many of the company’s devices are either battery-powered or compatible with rechargeable power packs, enabling cordless use for periods ranging from a few hours to longer depending on the model and power configuration. Where applicable, Stoov’s devices include integrated electronic controls or user interfaces to select or regulate temperature levels; some product generations have been distributed with embedded control buttons on the product itself, and the company has marketed products for intuitive plug-and-play use without complex setup. Beyond hardware, Stoov operates primarily on a direct-to-consumer retail model delivered through its official website and online sales channels, complemented by distribution through select third-party e-commerce platforms and retail partners. The company emphasizes consumer-facing product pages, clear technical specifications (such as heating power, battery capacity, run-time, and fabric care), and guidance on safe use of electric heating textiles. Packaging and marketing materials typically highlight portability, safety features (overheat protection, thermal cutoffs), ease of cleaning, and practical use cases — for example: under-desk warming for office workers, warmth while commuting, or focused comfort in colder parts of a home without raising whole-house heating. Stoov’s business activities also include product development and iterative design work that address consumer feedback and regulatory compliance. As a manufacturer of electrically powered consumer goods, the company engages with electronics safety standards, battery handling and transportation regulations, and textile flammability and care standards relevant to heated personal products. Product development work commonly involves collaboration with suppliers of heating elements, battery modules and textile components, and with third-party test laboratories for certification and safety testing. Stoov typically communicates product care and safety instructions alongside warranty and customer support resources, reflecting its role as both a technology product maker and a retailer. In market positioning, Stoov targets individuals seeking immediate, personal thermal comfort with a preference for low-energy, mobile solutions. The company’s target segments include remote and office workers who spend long periods seated and seek under-desk or seat-level warmth; commuters and travelers who need compact, stowable heating items; and consumers looking for small, efficient ways to lower household heating costs by reducing the need to heat entire rooms. Stoov’s communications and product briefs emphasize convenience, reduced energy consumption, and comfort as primary selling points, while also drawing attention to product durability and safety features as differentiators from improvised or low-quality heated textiles. Operationally, Stoov’s activities cover product design, supply-chain coordination (sourcing heating and power modules, textiles, and manufacturing services), e-commerce operations, customer support, and marketing. The company typically provides product specifications, FAQs and support content online to help buyers evaluate run time, power requirements and suitable use scenarios. Depending on the product range, Stoov may offer accessories such as replacement covers, alternative power packs, travel pouches and charging cables. The company’s customer service channels support returns, technical inquiries and warranty claims, consistent with consumer-electronics retail practice. Stoov’s offering sits at the intersection of small-appliance hardware and wearable/portable comfort technology. While the company’s primary focus is consumer hardware, its product set and associated customer-facing content reflect awareness of regulatory, safety and convenience considerations that are intrinsic to electrically heated textile products. By marketing compact, user-controlled heating items, Stoov seeks to deliver a practical, technology-enabled solution for personal warmth that complements broader home-heating strategies and provides portable comfort across work and leisure contexts.
