Je bouwt dealflow, versnelt teams via programma's en 1-op-1 begeleiding, en verbindt Brabantse deeptech met de internationale semicon-waardeketen.

Bij BOM werk je aan het versnellen van de groei van jonge technologiebedrijven die Brabant economisch én maatschappelijk sterker maken. Als Venture Developer ben je de schakel tussen startup-energie en industriële realiteit: je helpt founders sneller van technologie naar markt, van pilot naar opschaling en van idee naar investeerbaar bedrijf.

Jouw specialisme: Semiconductor industrie .

Je brengt diepe domeinkennis, ervaring in minstens een functionele discipline, begrip van de volledige waardeketen en een actief netwerk in de halfgeleiderindustrie mee, en gebruikt dat om startups versneld te laten groeien.

Wat je gaat doen

1) Dealflow bouwen in Semicon (scouting & selecteren)

  • Je identificeert en benadert proactief vroege-fase ondernemingen of startende ondernemers met potentieel voor groei en impact in Brabant. Je bent zichtbaar in het ecosysteem en weet waar relevante teams ontstaan: uit labs, corporate spin-outs, universiteiten, kennisinstellingen, (inter)nationale clusters en toeleverketens.

  • Scouting van startups in o.a. chipdesign, manufacturing equipment, materialen, metrologie, testen/ assembly, packaging, manufacturing of ontwerpsoftware, supply chain tech en enabling tech (zoals fotonica/AI).

  • Eerste gesprekken voeren en snel scherp krijgen: probleem, toepassing en use-cases, onderscheidend vermogen/differentiatie, route naar klant, TRL, Intellectueel Eigendom(IP), team, supply chain afhankelijkheden.

  • Matchen op strategische BOM-focus en programma's (venture building/ investment readiness).

2) Startups versnellen met "industry-grade" ondersteuning

Je helpt ondernemingen sneller succesvol te worden door gerichte toegang tot:

  • Kapitaal (BOM en co-investeerders), maar ook subsidie- en programma-kennis (regionaal, nationaal, Europees).

  • Kennis & markttoegang: customer discovery, business model, pricing, GTM, partnerships, pilots.

  • Talent & expertise: cofounders, key hires, domain experts, interim profielen.

  • Faciliteiten & ketenpartners: prototyping, cleanroom, test, packaging, foundry/EMS, reliability/qualification.

Je snapt dat semicon anders is dan "software": lange cycli, hoge capex/opex, joint-developments opzetten, productizering, kwalificatie-eisen, IP bescherming, supply chain constraints en vaak complexe customer/vendor-structuren. Je helpt founders daar pragmatisch doorheen.

3) Programma's draaien én één-op-één begeleiden

Je begeleidt bedrijven binnen BOM-programma's en biedt waar nodig één-op-één venture development support:

  • Problem-solution en product-markt fit selectie en validatie

  • Strategische roadmap: van proof-of-concept naar pilot projecten, van pilot naar productie/scale. Op technisch- en/of marktgebied.

  • Partnering: het opzetten van pilotdeals, joint development, design-ins, PoC's, supply chains en testtrajecten.

  • Opschaling: manufacturing readiness, DFM/DFT (op hoofdlijnen), QA/kwalificatie-denken, supply chain keuzes.

  • Investability: verhaal, business case, milestones, risico's, dataroom readiness, metrics en marktvalidatie.

4) Netwerk bouwen en activeren

Je onderhoudt een sterk relatienetwerk dat bijdraagt aan portfolio-ontwikkeling én aan de bredere opdrachten van BOM:

  • (Inter)nationale semicon spelers: OEM's, tier-1's, toeleveranciers, design houses, foundry/packaging ecosysteem, test/measurement, integrators.

  • Onderzoek & onderwijs: universiteiten, instituten, fieldlabs (e.g. imec, TNO,TU/e).

  • Investeerders: deeptech VC's, strategische investeerders, corporate venturing.

Je werkt bovendien nauw samen met startup-hubs in Brabant zoals The Gate, JADS, HTC en HTXL.

5) Methodiek en tooling verbeteren

Veel programma's en tools ontwikkelen we intern. We benutten jouw semicon-expertise om onze venture building aanpak verder te professionaliseren-met name waar het gaat om industriële validatie, ketenlogica, partnering en scale-up trajecten.

In dit team start je

Je wordt onderdeel van het team Key Technologies (ca. 10 collega's). Een team waarin vertrouwen, een wil om te winnen en Brabantse humor centraal staan. De mensen zijn bescheiden in woorden en gedreven in resultaat. Je werkt samen met o.a. Investment Analysts, Associates, Investment Managers en andere Venture Developers. Samen versterken we ondernemingen in een brede, kleurrijke deeptech-sector.

Voor je start

We zoeken geen "algemene" startup generalist, maar een venture developer met stevige semicon-ervaring die óók energie krijgt van vroege-fase teams en het bouwen van bedrijven.

  • Academisch werk- en denkniveau (technisch en/of bedrijfskundig).

  • Ruime ervaring in Semicon industrie (must) en aantoonbaar begrip van de end-to-end waardeketen: van R&D en design tot productie, testen, packaging en markttoepassingen.

  • Pre is een actief netwerk in (delen van) het semicon domein en het vermogen dit netwerk te activeren voor startups (klanten, partners, talent, experts).

  • Je werkt gestructureerd: je brengt focus, prioriteiten en voortgang in trajecten met veel onzekerheid.

  • Je kunt samenwerkingsprocessen organiseren tussen startups en industriële partijen, zodat producten echt aansluiten bij marktvraag.

  • Nieuwsgierigheid naar wat startups succesvol maakt (team, ICP, GTM, timing, funding, product-market fit).

  • Solide bedrijfseconomische basis en je weet die pragmatisch toe te passen (unit economics op hoofdlijnen, business cases, go/no-go denken).

  • Sterk in communicatie en relatiebeheer; je kunt schakelen met founders, engineers, corporates, investeerders en kennisinstellingen.

Naast salaris, een goede onboarding, 25 vakantiedagen en 12 ADV dagen (bij fulltime dienstverband), is er meer.
