    Company Information

    Company Name: Herôme Cosmetics

    Company Website: https://www.herome.nl

    Company Address: N/A

Herôme Cosmetics is a Dutch company and brand focused on nail care and related beauty products. The company’s publicly presented identity centers on the development, formulation, branding and distribution of products designed for nail health, nail treatment and cosmetic nail finishes for both professional salon use and retail consumers. Herôme’s product assortment covers a full spectrum of nail care needs—treatment and repair formulations intended to improve nail condition, cosmetic lacquers for color and finish, preparatory and finishing products such as base coats and top coats, conditioning oils and creams for cuticles and hands, and an assortment of manicure and pedicure tools and accessories—positioning the company as a specialist house in the niche of nail cosmetics. Core business activities performed and promoted by the company include product development and formulation of nail care treatments and polishes, production or procurement of nail-care and manicure/pedicure tools, packaging and branding, sales and distribution to retail channels and professional salons, and marketing and customer support activities targeted at both end consumers and trade professionals. The company’s public-facing materials emphasize product categories that serve two primary customer groups: (1) professional nail and beauty salons, which purchase higher-volume or professional-grade items, and (2) consumers who buy retail-sized products for at-home care. Herôme’s commercial approach typically includes providing product information, usage instructions, and point-of-sale offerings to support professional users and retail buyers alike. Main products and product families offered under the Herôme name comprise nail treatment products (strengtheners, repair treatments, ridge fillers, growth stimulators and restorative formulations), a range of nail polishes and lacquers (multiple color collections and seasonal palettes, plus classic shades), base coats and top coats formulated to protect and prolong polish wear, cuticle and hand care items (cuticle oils, creams, repair balms), and tools and implements (nail files, buffers, clippers, tips and other manicure/pedicure accessories). In addition to single-product retail items, Herôme presents product kits and starter collections intended to facilitate home manicure routines or to support salon protocols. The brand also offers products intended to prepare natural nails for polish application and to remove product residues safely and effectively, reflecting a full-service orientation to nail preparation, application and aftercare. Distribution and go-to-market channels visible in company communications include direct-to-consumer retail (via branded website and partner e-commerce), brick-and-mortar retail partners (drugstores, cosmetics retailers and specialized beauty shops), and business-to-business supply to beauty and nail salons. The company markets itself both domestically within the Netherlands and internationally through distributors and retailers in multiple countries. Product presentation and labeling typically include usage directions and safety information, catering to regulatory expectations for cosmetics and personal care products in the European market. Herôme’s public materials also place emphasis on product performance attributes such as nail protection, long-wear color, nail repair efficacy and ease of application. The company communicates product benefits in consumer-facing language—highlighting the functional purpose of treatments (e.g., strengthening, repairing or conditioning)—and provides guidance to professionals on product application and integration into salon protocols. While detailed claims about clinical testing, specific ingredient sourcing or proprietary technologies are handled on a product-by-product basis in product datasheets and packaging, the company presents itself as a specialist brand focused on effective nail-care solutions. Beyond individual products, Herôme’s commercial presentation frequently includes educational and informational components to support product use. These components are aimed at both consumers and professionals and may include application tips, how-to instructions and product selection guidance. For professional trade customers, the company’s communications and distributor materials typically emphasize reliability, consistent supply and a product line organized to meet typical salon workflows (preparation, treatment, coloring, finishing and aftercare). On matters of regulation and safety, Herôme’s product communications follow customary cosmetic-industry requirements for ingredient disclosure and usage guidance. As with other established cosmetics brands operating in Europe, product labeling and online product pages include ingredient lists and safety instructions aligned with EU cosmetic regulations. The company’s product portfolio and marketing activities are therefore structured around accepted industry practices for personal-care and cosmetic products. In summary, Herôme Cosmetics is a Netherlands-based nail-care specialist known for a broad portfolio of nail treatments, polishes, preparatory and finishing products and manicure/pedicure implements sold to both consumers and professional salons. The company’s publicly presented business model centers on concentrated expertise in nail cosmetics: developing and supplying products that address nail health and cosmetic finish, supporting both retail buyers and trade professionals, and distributing through retail, salon-supply and online channels.
