Blueriq is a technology company that develops and delivers a model-driven, low-code platform for automating complex business decisions, rules and processes. The company positions its offering to bridge the gap between business experts and IT by enabling business users to capture, model and maintain decision logic, product definitions and process flows in a business-readable form while providing the runtime components needed to deploy those models in digital channels and back-office systems. Blueriq’s platform is designed to support decision automation, case and process management, and configuration-driven application assembly so organizations can accelerate regulatory compliance, product launches and operational change without relying on extensive hand-coding. Core business activities - Product development: Blueriq focuses on the continuous development of its low-code decisioning and process automation platform, delivering capabilities for decision modeling, business rules, user interaction flows, and integration adapters. The platform emphasizes a model-driven approach that renders business logic in forms intended to be understandable and editable by subject-matter experts. - Platform licensing and software delivery: The company offers its platform under commercial licensing arrangements to enterprises and public-sector organizations. Deployments can be used to run customer-facing decision services, configure multichannel case handling, and automate end-to-end operational processes. - Professional services and implementation: Blueriq supplements its software offering with consulting, implementation and training services to support customers in modeling their business logic, integrating the platform with existing IT landscapes, and operationalizing solutions. Services commonly include solution design, model migration, testing, performance tuning, and knowledge transfer to in-house teams. - Support and maintenance: As a provider of enterprise software, Blueriq provides ongoing technical support, maintenance releases and platform upgrades to ensure customers maintain stable, secure production environments and receive functional enhancements on a managed cadence. Main products and capabilities - Blueriq Platform (decisioning & automation engine): The core product is a model-driven runtime and design environment that lets organizations express complex decisioning logic, eligibility rules, calculations, and process flows as executable models. Key capabilities typically include business-readable rule modeling, decision tables and trees, data modeling, versioning, and test harnesses to validate behavior. - Case and process handling: The platform supports case-centric processing where each matter or application can be tracked through configurable stages and tasks. This facilitates human-in-the-loop workflows, exception handling, and collaborative processing for operations teams. - Low-code front-end generation and orchestration: To accelerate delivery, Blueriq’s tooling often includes the ability to generate screen flows or UI fragments from models, speeding up the construction of multi-step digital forms, adviser guidance flows, and mobile-friendly interactions that reflect the modeled decision logic. - Integration and APIs: The product is designed to integrate with customer ecosystems — both modern microservice-based architectures and legacy systems. Standard integration approaches include REST/HTTP APIs, message-based connectivity, and adapters for common enterprise systems to enable orchestration of external services and data exchange. - Testing, traceability and audit: Built-in testing and simulation tools enable iterative validation of business models before production deployment. The platform offers traceability and audit features that record how decisions were reached, supporting regulatory and compliance requirements where explainability is important. Typical use cases and industries served Blueriq is used where complex eligibility rules, configurable product logic or multi-step processing are required. Common use cases include product configuration and onboarding, credit and benefits eligibility calculations, claims and application processing, compliance-driven decisioning, and digital advisory or guided selling flows. The platform is often adopted by financial services, insurance, public sector agencies and other organizations that need to codify intricate business rules while preserving the ability for business users to maintain those rules. Business approach and differentiation Blueriq’s differentiator is its emphasis on a model-driven engineering paradigm that aims to make business rules and process logic accessible to non-developers while producing executable artifacts for IT operations. This approach reduces time-to-market for new products and regulatory changes by allowing business analysts to author and maintain decision logic in a controlled, versioned environment. The company also combines software licensing with implementation support to help organizations adopt the platform and embed model-based practices into their delivery lifecycle. Delivery, deployment and support Blueriq supports enterprise deployment scenarios, including on-premises and cloud-hosted installations, and provides tooling to manage release cycles and environment promotion. Customers typically receive professional services during implementation and may subscribe to maintenance and support plans for ongoing operational needs. Training and certification programs are usually offered to accelerate internal capability building so businesses can increasingly control their own models and configurations. Summary In summary, Blueriq is a specialized enterprise software vendor offering a low-code, model-driven platform for decision automation, business rules, case management and configurable application assembly. Its products and services are aimed at organizations that need to rapidly implement and maintain complex decision logic and process flows—particularly in regulated and product-rich sectors—by enabling closer collaboration between business experts and IT and reducing the reliance on bespoke development for change.
