Job Description

Amazon’s vendor recruitment team, is looking for a talented Vendor Manager within the Amazon Fashion & Sports . Our vision is to, drive scaled growth for our Retail business in Europe (EU), through cultivating vendor partnerships and onboarding the brands most desired by EU customers. In this role you will be responsible for onboarding the most customer relevant brands across the EU for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail.
Within this role, the individual will have the opportunity establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships, and identify means to improve customer experience. We are seeking vendor manager with a broad skill set which demonstrates strong business development and analytical skills, , strong vendor management and negotiations skills, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers. You will work with vendors of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels of these organizations.

Key job responsibilities
• Your objective is to build best-in-class EU selection by identifying, prospecting, and launching high-potential new vendors on Amazon through strategic partnerships. You'll lead the full acquisition cycle—cold-calling prospects, attending trade fairs, confidently presenting Amazon's partnership value proposition, assessing vendor potential through market analysis, and negotiating favorable commercial terms including pricing, costs, and promotional investments to drive growth and competitive advantage
• Be a business consultant to new vendors: you will help with the entire recruitment cycle of new vendors from your pipeline, able to work autonomously. Help new vendors to integrate their catalogue data into Amazon platform, master Amazon’s internal tools, and train vendors on how to use these tools.
• Grow the vendor’s full product selection on Amazon to ensure ideal customer experience. Support in optimizing the online presence and content of each product on the vendor's portfolio. Plan, conduct, deliver and report analyses to understand the performance of new vendors
• Own projects and drive results on the projects working with cross functional stakeholders. Recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experience

Basic Qualifications

- - Bachelor's degree
- - Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional internal and external audiences
- - Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience in Retail business management or consulting, including negotiations
- - Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPI
- - Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools
- - Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities
- - Knowledge of additional EU languages is Plus especially German, French, Spanish or Italian
