Job Description

The AWS Specialist and Partner (ASP) team is seeking an experienced, dynamic, inspirational, and strategic leader to be the Single-Threaded-Owner (STO) of AWS’s Partners Everywhere strategy in Taiwan for our Commercial Sales business.

This proven leader of leaders will be responsible for all aspects of AWS’s Partners strategy in Taiwan including leading a team to expand the impact of Partners to our AWS customer based across Taiwan.

This leader will be accountable for;

* End-to-end responsibility for landing our Partners Everywhere strategy across the entire Taiwan Commercial Sales business, including coverage and execution across all AWS Sales Motions and Customer Territories.
* Defining where and how build Partner Capability and Capacity across all sales motions and strategic priorities across the Taiwan Commercial Sales business. Once defined, this leader is also responsible for delivering that Partner Capability and Capacity.
* Being the Single-Threaded-Leader for the AWS Partner Organization in Taiwan, guiding and aligning plans with the wider teams who support growth in Taiwan.
* Working in close collaboration with other teams to identify economies of scale across the teams and promote collaboration opportunities wherever possible.



Key job responsibilities
* Build and foster key C-Level executive relationships with AWS Partners
* Lead executive-level customer engagements alongside partners to demonstrate the value of AWS + Partner solutions, particularly for complex transformations and strategic workloads
* Deep interlock and alignment with the Taiwan Sales/SA and Specialist teams to ensure our Partner strategy aligns perfectly to our sales and GTM strategies and priorities across all sales motions.
* Be a key member of AWS Taiwan's Core LT by thinking beyond their individual function/domain and contribute with a high level of ownership on the LT.
* Lead a team of professionals operating across multiple disciplines (e.g. Partner Managers, Partner Specialist) and types of partners (e.g. Consulting Partners, Software Partners, BCAPs, Frontier Model providers).
* Strong organizational change leadership.
* Represent AWS and participate in industry and partner events to deliver thought leadership on how AWS supports customers in Taiwan.
* A proactive and visibly inclusive leader who is able to account for the diverse cultural nuances across Taiwan and bridge those to global mindsets & priorities.
* The candidate must be an excellent communicator and document writer who can influence, build credibility, and articulate recommendations to senior executives.
* Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
* Demonstrated ability to lead others independently and autonomously in a highly ambiguous environment.
* Ability to move fast and think outside of the box.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team, or experience leading and influencing your team or organization
- Intimately involved or experienced in the alliance/partnership function, driving complex strategic think big initiatives that drive non-linear growth. Different than a transactional seller / account executive.
- Ability to get things done and through others at scale. Eloquently balancing quality with progress over perfection.
- Ability to lead in an highly ambiguous environment with an even keel and with limited direction/oversight.
- Proven ability to drive alignment between a diverse set of stakeholders to drive transformational outcomes
- Be a steward of the Amazonian culture.
