Company Address: Ing. Enrique Butty 275, Piso 8, C1001AFA, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. is the Argentina-registered legal entity associated with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing arm of Amazon.com, Inc. As the local corporate presence for AWS in Argentina, the entity supports commercial, legal, billing and customer-engagement activities for customers, partners and public-sector organizations in the Argentine market. While AWS operates as a global cloud provider from data center regions and edge locations around the world, local subsidiaries such as Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. provide an on-the-ground corporate channel for sales, partnerships, customer success, compliance alignment, and regional marketing and business operations. At its core, AWS provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies and governments on a metered pay-as-you-go basis. The principal business activities represented by an AWS local subsidiary include offering access to the full AWS portfolio of infrastructure and platform services (compute, storage, databases, networking), higher-level platform services (analytics, machine learning, application integration), developer tooling, security and identity services, managed services, and professional services through direct engagement or via the AWS Partner Network (APN). AWS’s service model spans infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and managed services that enable customers to run everything from simple web applications to large-scale enterprise workloads and machine-learning systems without operating their own physical datacenter infrastructure. Key product and service categories that AWS provides and that Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. facilitates access to include: - Compute: Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) virtual servers, AWS Lambda serverless compute, Elastic Beanstalk for application deployment, Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling, and container services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Elastic Container Service (ECS). - Storage and content delivery: Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) for object storage, Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) for block storage, Amazon FSx and Amazon EFS for shared file storage, and Amazon CloudFront for content delivery and caching. - Databases and analytics: Managed relational database services (Amazon RDS), Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB (NoSQL), Amazon Redshift (data warehousing) and analytics services including Amazon EMR and Amazon Athena. - Networking and edge: Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Direct Connect, and edge/acceleration services. - Machine learning and AI: Amazon SageMaker for building, training and deploying machine learning models, plus purpose-built AI services for vision, speech, language and forecasting. - Security, identity and compliance: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Shield and WAF for DDoS and application protection, and a broad portfolio of compliance attestations and regional data-handling guidance. - Developer and management tools: AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudWatch monitoring and observability services, AWS Systems Manager, and developer pipelines and CI/CD integrations. - Marketplace and partner ecosystem: AWS Marketplace for third-party software, and a large partner ecosystem providing consulting, managed services, systems integration and certified technical expertise through the AWS Partner Network. Beyond technical products, Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. typically supports local market needs through commercial contracting, local-currency billing options where available, customer support channels, and partnerships with local systems integrators, managed-service providers, and independent software vendors. AWS also delivers training and certification programs aimed at developing cloud skills across enterprises, startups, academic institutions and public-sector organizations; local subsidiaries commonly coordinate regional training events, workshops and partner enablement programs. AWS emphasizes security controls, operational best practices and international compliance standards; the broader AWS organization maintains certifications and compliance attestations (such as ISO standards, SOC reports, and regional regulatory alignments) and provides documentation and guidance to customers for meeting local regulatory and data-protection requirements. For customers in Argentina, the local entity acts as a point of contact for contractual and regulatory questions, partner engagement and coordination with AWS’s global technical and account teams. Typical customers served through AWS’s Argentina presence include technology startups, enterprises undergoing digital transformation, media and entertainment companies, financial services firms, healthcare and life sciences organizations, academic and research institutions, and public-sector agencies adopting cloud services for cost efficiency, scalability and innovation. Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. supports these customers by enabling access to AWS’s global infrastructure, facilitating procurement and contracting in the local jurisdiction, and by fostering a partner ecosystem that provides migration, managed services, specialized industry solutions and local support. In summary, Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. functions as the local legal and commercial embodiment of AWS’s cloud platform capabilities in Argentina, enabling Argentine organizations to procure, deploy and operate cloud-native and cloud-enabled workloads while leveraging AWS’s global portfolio of infrastructure, platform services, managed services, partner programs, and training resources.
