Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding the processes we maintain, you will relentlessly seek out improvement opportunities, and you will act as an advocate for our customers, advertisers, and our team. Your responsibilities will also include tracking, analysis, and reporting activities. A successful candidate enjoys investigating ambiguous and complex business processes, has a track record of successfully leading large-scale operational improvement initiatives, has strong analytical capabilities, is an effective communicator, has strong stakeholder management skills, and will dive deep into the weeds of a problem to find solutions. You will work cross-functionally across the ads business, working directly with Policy, Sales, Operations, Product, and others, including senior leadership.


Key job responsibilities
• Lead strategic initiatives to streamline ad policy operations, improving efficiency while maintaining quality, compliance, and trust.
• Partner with stakeholder teams to deep dive and root cause policy and moderation pain points, designing and implementing scalable improvements.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, and Policy teams to drive automation and tool improvements.
• Leverage training and communication skills and resources to change partner team behaviors at scale.
• Explore the use of AI tools (LLMs and Agents) to improve stakeholder understanding of policies and automate recurring processes.
• Develop metrics frameworks and analytics to proactively find and address issues.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple teams and regions.

A day in the life
As a member of the Advertising Trust's Policy team, you'll work across Amazon's business lines to shape customer experience and long-term strategy for Amazon Advertising. Our team combines extensive online advertising experience with expertise in customer experience solutions, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. We seek innovative, customer-obsessed individuals who think deeply about complex challenges.


About the team
The Ad Policy team owns global ad policies across all Ad products and Amazon Publishers. This dynamic team is an integral part of how we support Amazon Advertising and as such has touch points across multiple areas of our business. We make a customer impact with every ad we serve and pride ourselves on doing so with a customer centric focus.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- 7+ years of program or project Management experience
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Superior verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in an online advertising role and have familiarity with advertising products and ad serving technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
