Job Description

In this role, you will operate within the APJ PDS team, surrounded by world-class builders focusing on Solutions(Horizontal and Vertical) aligned to LOB business personas, and Generative AI, helping to define AWS Partner strategy aligned to these pillars. We do not manage partners directly. We rely on Area Partner teams for partner-level execution. Our job is to activate partners against demand signals — working in close collaboration with the Area APO team, AGS, AGS GTM teams, and AWSI/WWSO — so that partner capabilities land exactly where AGS needs them. This is how we accelerate co-sell at scale.
To accelerate value for our rapidly-growing partner community, we are looking for a motivated, technically savvy professional to build upon our ecosystem of AWS partners that work with, or provide consulting services to, customers requiring cloud-based solutions from AWS.
In this role, you will work with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs) to build and test Go-To-Market strategies aligned to key initiatives. You will work closely with AWS partners, AWSI, AWS Business Development Managers, AWS sales, marketing, and the APN team.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and drive GTM strategies utilizing the APJ PDS sprint methodology to drive outcomes aligned to business needs.
• Work with regional leads( AGS and One Partner Team) to identify, develop and promote partners (solutions) that help fill critical business gaps and drive incremental pipeline and LARR.
• Develop and drive enablement plans for partners to facilitate scaling their GTM reach of solutions built on AWS .
• Promote top partners and their solutions to AWS customers and sellers.
• Develop and drive GTM initiatives, promotions, funding benefits, and incentives as appropriate.
• Gather, organise, and report back partner feedback (both technical and business) to help improve the customer and partner experience.
• Own communication strategy: contribute updates to internal communication channels and keep key stakeholders informed of changes, events, and opportunities

A day in the life
Get ready to learn and achieve great things with a variety of AWS partners! In this role, you will build knowledge of AWS Solutions and assemble a cross-functional team to orchestrate time bound engagements with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs). As a team, you will promote high-quality customer solutions based on AWS Services and support partners take these to market and co-sell with AWS. You will work closely with AWS AGS Sellers, marketing, and the APN team to grow a community of enabled and successful partners.

About the team
The APJ PDS team exists to accelerate business outcomes with partners across APJ. We execute through high-velocity, time-bound sprints run directly with Area Partner and AGS teams, anchored to AGS demand signals and Area Partner team priorities. Every sprint is designed to drive incremental Launched ARR (LARR) and generate reusable assets that compound results well beyond the campaign window.
Our sprints operate across two dimensions simultaneously. Horizontally, we scale strategic priorities — like Generative AI — across the region. Vertically, we drive incremental LARR in targeted industries: FSI, Retail, Manufacturing, and Energy & Utilities. A sprint is not abstract — it is partner-led capacity scaled for a specific use case or solution delivering incremental LARR, or a GenAI activation aligned to a specific AGS pipeline gap driving in-year launches and revenue. That is the level of precision we operate at.

Amazon Web Services Korea LLC is the Republic of Korea subsidiary of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing arm of Amazon.com, Inc. The entity operates to represent, deliver and support AWS cloud offerings and programs within South Korea, interfacing with local customers, channel partners, systems integrators, public-sector organizations and independent software vendors. As the localized corporate presence for AWS in Korea, the company provides business development, technical enablement, customer support, partner engagement and localized marketing and sales activities to help organizations adopt and run cloud-based infrastructure and applications on the global AWS platform. Core business activities of Amazon Web Services Korea LLC mirror the broader AWS organization’s focus on providing on-demand cloud computing services and related professional programs. The company promotes and facilitates use of AWS infrastructure services (compute, storage and networking), managed database services, analytics, application integration, developer and management tools, serverless computing, container services, machine learning and artificial intelligence offerings, edge computing and content delivery, security and identity services, Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities, migration and modernization services, and industry-specific cloud solutions. In practice this includes educating and certifying developers and IT professionals, supporting customer migrations and deployments to AWS, enabling partner solutions through the AWS Partner Network (APN), and delivering localized versions of global AWS programs and support tiers tailored to the South Korean market. AWS’s product portfolio, which Amazon Web Services Korea LLC helps to make available and support locally, includes foundational infrastructure services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for virtual servers and auto-scaling compute, Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) for object storage, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for networking, and global content delivery via Amazon CloudFront. Managed database services promoted and supported locally include Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB for NoSQL, and Amazon Redshift for data warehousing and analytics. For modern application development, AWS offers container orchestration services like Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), as well as serverless compute through AWS Lambda. The company also enables enterprise observability and governance through services such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail and AWS Config, and identity and access management using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM). In addition to core infrastructure and platform services, AWS provides advanced capabilities that Amazon Web Services Korea LLC supports in-market: machine learning and artificial intelligence services (Amazon SageMaker and related AI/ML offerings), analytics and data processing (Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Kinesis), developer tools and DevOps automation (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy), and hybrid cloud and edge solutions (AWS Outposts, AWS Local Zones, and edge computing services). The company also helps Korean customers access AWS Marketplace, a catalog of third-party software and services deployable on AWS, and supports professional services engagements, managed services partners and consulting partners that assist with design, migration, optimization and operations. Amazon Web Services Korea LLC plays a role in supporting AWS’s global infrastructure footprint in South Korea, including the availability of the AWS Asia Pacific (Seoul) Region (ap-northeast-2) and any local infrastructure initiatives designed to provide low-latency access, data residency options and regulatory compliance for Korean customers. Through local presence, AWS Korea works with government agencies and regulated industries to help address compliance, data protection and sovereignty considerations by aligning global AWS compliance programs and certifications with local regulatory requirements and customer needs. Customer segments served by Amazon Web Services Korea LLC range from startups and technology companies to large enterprises, public sector institutions and educational organizations. AWS’s cloud services are used across industries for web and mobile application hosting, data analytics and warehousing, backup and disaster recovery, high-performance computing, IoT, digital transformation initiatives and software development lifecycles. The subsidiary supports partner-led and direct engagements, training and certification programs for IT professionals and developers, and local events and workshops to increase cloud adoption and proficiency among Korean customers. Operationally, Amazon Web Services Korea LLC coordinates sales, technical account management, partner programs and localized customer support arrangements, while leveraging AWS’s global engineering, operations and security programs. The company also participates in regional initiatives for partner certification, technical enablement and market development to accelerate cloud adoption in South Korea. Through these activities, Amazon Web Services Korea LLC aims to provide Korean organizations with access to the same breadth of cloud services, global infrastructure, security controls and partner ecosystem that AWS offers worldwide, adapted to local language, business practices and regulatory expectations.
