Job Description

Do you have passion for emerging business models and supporting strategic Nordic Software Companies in their journey to and in the cloud? Do you have the business savvy and the technical understanding necessary to expand & accelerate AWS leadership as the key technology provider and innovation enabler in the Nordic Software Industry?

The software industry is at an inflection point. AI and Agentic AI are fundamentally rewriting how software is built, delivered, and consumed. Traditional software architectures are giving way to intelligent, autonomous systems that can reason, act, and learn — transforming not just the technology stack but entire business models. From AI-powered developer tooling to agentic workflows that automate complex enterprise processes, the next generation of software will be defined by those who embrace this shift now.

Established Nordic Software Companies (Independent Software Vendors or ISVs) are challenged by disruptive start-ups and new evolving business models from around the world. Innovation is happening right now through new and innovative usage and integration of AI, Agentic AI, IoT, Voice and more into existing systems. The companies that will lead are those that transform their offerings from static applications into intelligent, AI-native platforms — and they need a trusted partner to guide them. Be at the heart of this business model transformation and guide software companies as trusted advisor through their transformational journey from traditional to AI-powered SaaS business models, enabling them to be more innovative and bring breakthrough Software Made in the Nordics to the worldwide market!

As ISV Account Manager you will be part of an EMEA team and have the unique opportunity to shape the future of software and AWS across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway. You will help ISVs navigate the transition from conventional SaaS to AI-native and agentic architectures — turning disruption into competitive advantage. The ideal candidate will drive engagement at the executive level as well as with software architects and have a combination of sales / account management and technical understanding of the software industry. She/he should also be an innovation oriented self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.

A day in the life
You jump on a strategic call with the CTO of a fast-growing ISV, exploring how Agentic AI can transform their legacy platform into an intelligent, autonomous solution. Next, you're reviewing your territory plan, prioritising accounts with the highest transformation potential. You join a knowledge-sharing session with your EMEA colleagues, exchanging best practices on how ISVs are navigating the shift to AI-powered SaaS models. You co-create a business case with an AWS Solutions Architect for an ISV looking to embed generative AI into their product, articulating the compelling value of AWS services to both technical and business stakeholders.

No two days are the same. You'll move between strategic advisory, hands-on territory execution, cross-functional collaboration, and thought leadership — always with the goal of helping Nordic software companies turn the AI revolution into their competitive advantage.

The Sweden Branch acts as a local business presence to support customers using that and other AWS regions, facilitating procurement, support relationships and local engagement with customers and partners. Relationship to the broader AWS organization AWS EMEA SARL (Sweden Branch) is an operational/legal branch of the AWS EMEA entity and is integrated with Amazon Web Services’ global product, engineering and operations organizations. It leverages the same global service catalog, service-level commitments, security and compliance frameworks, partner ecosystem and professional services offerings that are the foundation of AWS’s cloud business worldwide. Customers contracting through the Sweden Branch therefore gain access to AWS’s global platform while also benefiting from localized sales, support and compliance engagement. Customers and use cases Customers working with the Sweden Branch range from startups and local technology firms to large enterprises, public sector organizations and system integrators. Common customer use cases supported include cloud-native application hosting, data analytics and business intelligence, backup and disaster recovery, machine learning workloads, highly scalable web and mobile backends, and secure hybrid-cloud architectures.
