Job Description

The position

We’re looking for an AI-Driven Cloud Architect to join our cloud team (Platforms & Services). In this role, you’ll design and implement highly available, secure cloud architectures - and help shape how we use AI-assisted development and agentic/ orchestrated AI capabilities as part of modern cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Architect and implement cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Collaborate with sales teams, service managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals

  • Define and enforce best practices with the team for development, deployment, and DevOps workflows

  • Provide strategic direction and technical insight to craft solutions that are scalable, sustainable, secure and consistent

You

You’re a cloud professional who is comfortable taking ownership and leading technical direction - and you actively promote AI-assisted development as a practical, everyday way of working.

Required skills & experience

  • Strong advocate of AI-assisted development workflows, embedding AI assistants into daily development practices (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)

  • Understanding of designing and operating AI-enabled cloud platforms, including agentic systems and orchestration

  • Experience designing highly available and secure cloud solution architectures

  • Solid knowledge of one or multiple public clouds: Azure, AWS, GCP

  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as: Bicep/ ARM, Terraform or OpenTofu

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, e.g. AKS and/or EKS

  • Experience with container technologies and orchestration

  • Good knowledge of DevOps operating models and CI/CD technologies

  • Working proficiency in Finnish or English, both spoken and written

  • Ability to take on a leadership role within the cloud team - ensuring customer requirements are understood, implemented, and communicated effectively

About the Cloud Team (Platforms & Services)

Our Cloud Platforms & Services team is responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud foundations that support customer solutions across Solteq. The team works closely with development, consulting, and service management to ensure cloud environments are stable, secure, cost‑effective, and fit for long‑term operation.

The cloud team plays a key role throughout the lifecycle - from architecture and implementation to operational improvements - and supports customers by managing cloud subscriptions, enabling reliable deployments, and continuously improving performance and sustainability. The work is highly collaborative, combining architecture expertise, DevOps practices, and service‑oriented thinking.
