Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced AI Integration Specialist to independently drive AI solution delivery within our customer office, driving innovation through the implementation and enablement of AI across Managed Services, Customer Success and Technical Account Management. This is a fully remote role that combines technical problem-solving with business acumen. Your primary focus will be leveraging and extending our AI platform (Amazon Quick) — configuring, building upon, troubleshooting, and integrating solutions that enhance customer experience and support the growth of our business. This role is ideal for someone who finds satisfaction in building on an existing platform’s capabilities through configuration and integration, partnering with the business to enable AI to have a measurable business impact, and who has the instinct to dig in and figure things out when they don't work as expected.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Solution Design & Development: Independently design and build complete AI solutions — agents, multi-step workflows, and integrations — making informed decisions about agent architecture, context design, retrieval strategies, and grounding techniques.

• Platform Configuration & Administration: Configure and manage AI platform environments including agent deployment, knowledge base architecture, data connector setup, access controls, and workspace organization to support scalable, reliable solution delivery.

• Data Orchestration & Integration: Connect, shape, and manage data pipelines between business systems (Salesforce, Totango, Jira, Redshift, Snowflake) and the AI platform.Design data flows that ensure agents and workflows have the right data at the right time, including field mapping, transformation logic, and ongoing data quality management.

• Technical Problem-Solving & Debugging: Independently diagnose and resolve complex issues across the AI solution stack — systematically forming hypotheses, reading documentation, reviewing logs, and isolating root causes across unfamiliar systems.

• System Integration & Extensibility: Extend platform capabilities through available integration frameworks and, where needed, develop custom connectivity solutions to bridge AI platforms with business systems as integration patterns emerge.

• Workflow & Automation Development: Design and build automated workflows and multi-step processes within AI platforms, optimizing orchestration patterns, error handling, and trigger logic for business process automation.

• Program Champion Enablement: Partner with program champions embedded in Proofpoint's Services teams — equipping them to identify use cases, build their own solutions, and expand AI adoption within their organizations. Provide structured guidance through office hours, capability demonstrations, and consultative support.

• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain feature documentation, SOPs, capability guides, and enablement materials that empower program champions and team members to effectively use and build on the platform.

• Business Consulting & Opportunity Identification: Proactively understand business workflows, pain points, and goals across Proofpoint's Services teams to identify and frame AI opportunities — including surfacing opportunities that stakeholders may not have articulated.

• AI Landscape Evaluation: Track developments across the broader AI landscape, evaluate how emerging tools, platforms, and paradigms impact the team's work, and bring well-formed recommendations on when alternative solutions may be more appropriate than existing approaches.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor AI solution performance, identify improvement opportunities independently, and iterate to ensure ongoing value delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4–7 years of experience in a technical, business consulting, or AI integration role with a demo

Company Information

Company Name: Tessian

Company Website: https://www.tessian.com

Company Address: N/A

Tessian is a London-headquartered cybersecurity company that develops cloud-native, machine learning–driven solutions focused on preventing human‑caused security incidents across email and cloud collaboration platforms. The company positions itself around the concept of “human layer security,” describing a suite of capabilities designed to detect and prevent threats that exploit employee behavior and mistakes rather than purely software vulnerabilities. Tessian’s core offering is a set of SaaS products that analyze user behavior, email traffic patterns, and contextual signals to identify and block risky message flows—stopping phishing, business email compromise (BEC), accidental data loss, and other outbound or inbound email-based threats. Company overview and business activities Tessian operates as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) vendor in the enterprise cybersecurity market. Its products run in the cloud and are designed for rapid integration with widely used enterprise email and productivity platforms (notably Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace). Tessian’s business activities center on developing machine learning models that learn the normal communications patterns and digital behavior of an organization’s workforce and then surface anomalies and policy violations in real time. Rather than relying solely on signature-based detection or static rules, Tessian emphasizes behavioral analysis and probabilistic models that adapt to each customer’s environment. Core products and main services Tessian’s product portfolio is oriented around email security, data loss prevention (DLP), and human risk management. Key capabilities typically described by Tessian include: - Real-time preventive controls for outbound email: identifying and blocking or warning users about risky outbound messages that could lead to sensitive data exposure, misaddressing, or unauthorized sharing. This includes detection of anomalous recipients, atypical attachment behaviors, and deviations from established communication patterns. - Inbound threat protection: identifying targeted phishing, credential-harvesting attacks, and business email compromise attempts by combining message content signals, sender/recipient relationships, and behavioral indicators that suggest social-engineering attempts. - Post-delivery detection and remediation: tools to detect malicious or risky messages after delivery and support remediation workflows (for example, automated quarantine, recall, or administrator-led response actions) to reduce dwell time and limit impact. - Data loss prevention (modern DLP): contextual DLP that augments or complements existing DLP solutions by applying behavioral context and machine learning to reduce false positives and prioritize risky events that matter most to an organization. - Human risk insights and analytics: dashboards and reporting to help security teams understand which users, teams, or communication patterns present elevated risk, enabling targeted training, policy changes, or protective controls. - Policy automation and orchestration: mechanisms to implement and manage email security policies that reflect organizational risk tolerance and workflows, including automated user warnings, admin notifications, and enforcement actions. Technology approach and integrations Tessian’s approach is built on behavioral machine learning that models individual and organizational communication norms. The company emphasizes automated, continuously learning models that reduce administrative overhead and require minimal manual tuning. Tessian integrates with enterprise identity and email platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) using API-based connectors, which allow it to operate without inline SMTP proxying in many deployments. This architecture supports cloud-native deployment, enabling centralized management and rapid scaling for large organizations. Target customers and use cases Tessian targets mid-market and enterprise customers that require stronger protections for email and cloud collaboration tools, particularly organizations in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, legal, etc.) and enterprises that prioritize reducing human error and targeted social-engineering attacks. Common use cases include preventing credential theft and phishing, stopping accidental outbound data leaks (for example, misdirected emails containing confidential attachments), reducing the operational burden of DLP by surfacing high‑confidence incidents, and augmenting existing secure email gateway (SEG) or native platform protections. Operational and deployment characteristics Tessian is delivered as a subscription service with cloud-based management and reporting. The company’s solutions emphasize low-friction deployment—often integrating with tenants’ existing cloud email infrastructure and identity providers—so organizations can adopt protective controls with minimal changes to mail flow. Tessian typically provides administrative consoles for security operations teams alongside end-user workflows (warnings, prompts, or blocking actions) designed to reduce risky behavior at the moment of action. Value proposition and differentiators Tessian’s stated differentiators are its focus on the human element of security, the use of individualized behavioral models rather than rules-only approaches, and its cloud-native, API-driven integration model. By modeling normal user and organizational communication patterns, Tessian aims to reduce false positives common to traditional DLP and email security tools, and to prioritize the most actionable incidents for security teams. Its combination of real-time preventive controls and post-delivery remediation is intended to shorten response times for targeted attacks and reduce the incidence of accidental data leaks. Market positioning and messaging Tessian markets itself to security leaders (CISOs, security operations teams, and IT administrators) as a complementary control to existing email security stacks—positioned to catch threats and mistakes that bypass perimeter defenses or exploit human behavior. The company emphasizes measurable outcomes such as reduced data exfiltration incidents, fewer successful phishing and BEC attacks, and lower operational workload for security teams through automated prioritization and remediation. Summary In summary, Tessian is a technology-focused cybersecurity firm that delivers cloud-native, machine-learning-based email security and human risk management solutions. Its products are designed to prevent and remediate threats caused by or aimed at human behavior—such as phishing, business email compromise, and accidental data loss—by modeling normal communication patterns and applying contextual, behavioral analytics to identify and stop anomalous or risky activity. Tessian’s offerings integrate with major cloud email platforms, are supplied as SaaS, and aim to reduce both security incidents and the manual effort required to investigate and remediate them.
