The Video & AI Content Creator is a versatile, high-output creative who produces compelling motion-focused content for organic social, paid social, and performance marketing formats from platform-native short-form video and iterative creative variants to polished brand storytelling assets. This role sits at the intersection of traditional video craft, social-first storytelling, and AI-assisted production. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial instincts, a native understanding of social platforms, and a genuine passion for how emerging AI tools can accelerate and elevate creative work.

Outcomes and Activities:

Working alongside Art Directors, Copywriters and Social Media Managers, you’ll

  • Concept and develop creative built for engagement, retention, and performance: short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms — with a strong instinct for hooks, pacing, and what earns the scroll-stop
  • Concept and create longer-form storytelling content, as needed
  • Generate AI-driven imagery and video using tools such as Adobe Firefly, Freepik, Google Flow, and Higgsfield, producing original visuals and stylized assets that integrate seamlessly with live-action footage
  • Develop and document repeatable AI-assisted production workflows that increase content volume, reduce turnaround time, and support multivariate creative testing across message, format, and channel
  • Evaluate new AI tools as they emerge — piloting what's worth adopting and helping establish team best practices around responsible, brand-safe AI use
  • Stay ahead of social platform trends, algorithm shifts, and format evolutions — quickly adapting creative approaches to what's working now
  • Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and version control to support efficient team workflows and asset reuse

Knowledge and Skills:

  • A background in long-form or broadcast video production, including end-to-end post-production, color grading, sound design, and delivery across formats, that informs strong storytelling instincts and the ability to jump in on higher-production work when needed
  • Hands-on fluency with AI image and video generation tools; able to produce work where AI plays a meaningful, intentional creative role, not just a novelty
  • Understanding of where AI accelerates production and where human craft remains irreplaceable — and the judgment to know the difference
  • Deep, intuitive grasp of what performs on social platforms — not just theoretically, but from consistent hands-on experience creating and publishing content
  • Comfort working across both long-lead traditional production cycles and fast-turn social publishing cadences simultaneously
  • Clear communicator who can articulate creative decisions to both creative and non-creative stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–5 years of professional video editing and content creation experience spanning social-native and traditional advertising formats
  • Portfolio demonstrating range across all three content types: social-first video, traditional brand or advertising work, and AI-assisted production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects, as well as social-first editing tools like CapCut
  • Hands-on experience with multiple AI image or video generation platforms

Preferred:

  • Mix of in-house, agency and/or production company experience
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Experience supporting both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Motion design or 2D animation skills beyond standard templates

Compensation: $73,000 - $86,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan

This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.

Company Information

Company Name: Credit Acceptance

Company Website: https://www.creditacceptance.com

Company Address: 25505 W 12 Mile RdSouthfield, MI 48034

Credit Acceptance Corporation is a publicly traded specialty finance company that provides dealer-focused retail automobile financing programs and related services. Operating principally as a purchaser and servicer of retail installment contracts originated by automobile dealers, Credit Acceptance’s core business model is structured to enable independent and franchise used-vehicle dealers to offer financing to customers who may have limited or impaired credit histories. The company’s activities center on acquiring retail installment contracts from dealers at the point of sale, assuming credit risk on those contracts, and then managing the ongoing servicing, collections and administrative functions associated with those receivables. At a high level, Credit Acceptance functions as an intermediary between vehicle dealers and the consumer borrowers. Dealers submit installment sale contracts to the company under one of the firm’s dealer finance programs; Credit Acceptance evaluates the contracts according to its underwriting and program rules, purchases eligible contracts, and provides dealers with a purchase price for the contracts. By purchasing contracts rather than simply referring loans to third-party lenders, the company both supplies dealers with near-immediate proceeds from sales and takes on the ongoing performance risk and maintenance of the contracts. This model reduces the capital and credit exposure that dealers would otherwise need to bear and allows them to broaden their customer base to include buyers who are non-prime or have challenged credit profiles. The company’s primary products and services include contract purchase programs, contract servicing and collection operations, and a set of support services for participating dealers. Credit Acceptance’s contract purchase programs represent the core product: these are structured purchases of retail installment sale contracts for vehicles. Once a contract is purchased, Credit Acceptance handles billing, payment processing, collections, and default recovery. Because the company retains the legal interest in purchased contracts, it is responsible for managing charge-offs, repossessions, recoveries, and related loss mitigation activities. Contract servicing also encompasses customer account management, payment posting, and internal controls designed to protect both consumer and contract-holder rights. In addition to purchasing and servicing, the company provides dealer support services intended to increase dealer participation and help dealers manage the customer finance experience. These services commonly include training for dealer personnel, operational onboarding, reporting and analytics on contract performance, and compliance-related resources. Credit Acceptance historically emphasizes a partnership approach with dealers, focusing on underwriting guidelines, program administration, and ongoing operational coordination so dealers can maintain retail sales volumes while transferring financing risk and servicing obligations to the company. From an operational standpoint, Credit Acceptance maintains internal underwriting and credit-evaluation processes that are designed to assess contract eligibility, price purchases appropriately for risk, and manage portfolio performance. The firm’s business requires scale in collections, loss mitigation, and repossession logistics, as well as compliance operations to meet consumer finance and debt collection regulations. As a public company, Credit Acceptance also publishes regular financial disclosures, risk factors and performance metrics that inform investors about portfolio charge-off rates, yield on purchased contracts, dealer count, and geographic exposure. The company’s earnings and cash flows are tied closely to contract yield, portfolio performance, and macroeconomic factors that influence used-vehicle demand and borrower payment behavior. Credit Acceptance’s market position is specialized within the broader auto finance and consumer finance industries. It serves a distinct segment of the market—typically customers who are underserved by prime lenders—by accepting higher credit risk in exchange for higher yields on purchased contracts. The firm’s strategy relies on the ability to underwrite at origination, price contracts to reflect anticipated losses and costs, and operate efficient servicing and collections to maximize recovery. The company’s public reporting and investor materials typically highlight metrics such as number of dealer locations participating in its programs, number of active contracts, average contract term and yield, and loss rates, which are core to evaluating performance in this business model. In regulatory and compliance matters, Credit Acceptance operates in a heavily regulated environment governed by federal and state consumer protection, lending and repossession laws. The company maintains compliance programs, internal controls and reporting frameworks to adhere to applicable statutes and to manage litigation and regulatory risk. As a purchaser and servicer of retail installment contracts, Credit Acceptance interacts with state motor vehicle and lending regulators, and its processes for collections and repossession are subject to consumer protection oversight. Credit Acceptance’s model has attracted attention from investors, dealers and consumer advocates alike because it addresses access to credit for higher-risk consumers while concentrating credit losses within the purchasing entity. The company discloses its philosophy on risk management, dealer relationships and portfolio governance through investor relations materials, regulatory filings and public statements. As a publicly traded corporation, Credit Acceptance’s financial performance, governance and strategic initiatives are communicated through filings with securities regulators and its official investor relations channels, which provide stakeholders with ongoing information about product programs, portfolio composition and business results.
