Agrifirm Group (commonly referred to as Agrifirm) is an international agricultural cooperative that provides products, services and knowledge to farmers and agricultural businesses. Presenting itself as a partner for primary producers, Agrifirm combines feed manufacturing, crop inputs, technical services and advisory offerings to support on-farm productivity, animal health and sustainable resource use. The organization operates across multiple product lines and supporting activities that span formulation and production, research and development, logistics and farm-level advisory. Overview Agrifirm is organized around the needs of farm customers and positions itself as a knowledge-driven supplier of both commodity and specialised inputs for animal husbandry and crop production. The cooperative structure underpins its direct relationship with farmers and member-owners in primary agriculture. Agrifirm’s public communications emphasize integrated value chains: raw material sourcing and processing, product formulation (notably for animal feed and crop nutrition), and distribution combined with technical support and farm-level services. Core business activities - Animal nutrition and feed production: Agrifirm develops and manufactures compound feeds, concentrates, premixes and feed additives for multiple livestock sectors, including dairy, beef, swine, poultry and other species. Product development typically focuses on nutrient formulation, feed safety, performance optimization and animal health support. Production involves feed mills and blending facilities, quality control laboratories and supply chain management for raw materials. - Crop inputs and plant nutrition: The group supplies fertilizers, crop protection products, seeds and biostimulants. These offerings are aimed at arable farmers, fruit and vegetable producers and contractors, with a mix of off-the-shelf and tailored crop nutrition programs. Agrifirm’s crop business often integrates advisory services to align fertilization and protection strategies with farm goals and regulatory requirements. - Technical services and advisory: Agrifirm provides farm consultancy and technical advice, delivered by agronomists, animal nutritionists and field specialists. Advisory services include herd and flock management recommendations, feed conversion and ration optimisation, soil and crop analysis, and agronomic planning. The company supports precision agriculture practices through guidance on variable-rate application, nutrient mapping and integrated pest management. - Research, development and innovation: The company invests in R&D related to feed formulations, feed additives and ingredient sourcing, as well as crop nutrition technologies and biologicals. R&D work includes laboratory testing, on-farm trials and cooperation with research institutes and universities. Innovation activities also cover digital tools for farm management, data-driven advisory systems and sustainability solutions aimed at reducing environmental footprints. - Ingredients sourcing and supply chain logistics: Agrifirm manages procurement of key raw materials such as grains, oilseeds, protein meals, vitamins and minerals. The organisation operates logistics networks and storage facilities to supply its manufacturing sites and customers efficiently while managing quality and traceability. Main products and services - Compound feeds and feed concentrates for dairy, beef, swine, poultry and specialist species. - Premixes, vitamins, minerals and feed additives (including enzymes, probiotics and other functional ingredients) used to enhance animal health and performance. - Fertilizers, crop protection products and plant nutrition solutions including tailored nutrient programs and biostimulants. - Seeds and seed-related services for various crop types. - Farm-level consultancy and technical support in animal nutrition, crop production and sustainable farm management practices. - Digital services and precision agriculture tools to support decision-making (e.g., tools for ration formulation, nutrient planning, and crop monitoring), and data-driven advisory services. - Quality assurance, laboratory analysis and on-farm trial management to validate product performance and support regulatory compliance. Market positioning and intent Agrifirm communicates a focus on helping farmers achieve efficient, resilient and sustainable production. The cooperative model reinforces a direct service relationship with farmers, and the company highlights integrated solutions that link feed and crop inputs with advisory expertise. Public-facing materials emphasize practical, farm-level outcomes—improving animal performance, optimising nutrient use, and supporting profitable crop production—alongside initiatives to reduce environmental impacts and promote long-term resource stewardship. Operational footprint and capabilities Agrifirm runs manufacturing plants, laboratories and service centres to support its feed and crop businesses, along with commercial teams and agronomy networks that deliver localised advice. The organisation’s structure is designed to combine large-scale manufacturing capability with regionally tailored products and services, enabling it to serve both commodity-oriented needs and specialised, knowledge-intensive offerings for individual farms. Collaboration with external research institutions and participation in sector partnerships are part of its approach to innovation and regulatory adaptation. Sustainability and regulatory context Agrifirm’s publicly available materials underscore activities aimed at improving sustainability on farms, including measures to optimise nutrient use efficiency, reduce emissions per unit of production, and develop circular-economy feed ingredient solutions. The company also addresses regulatory compliance in feed safety, product labelling and environmental standards through quality systems and lab testing. These elements are framed as part of long-term support for the agricultural sector and the cooperative’s member base. Summary Agrifirm Group is an established cooperative supplier to the agricultural sector that integrates feed production, crop inputs, supply-chain management, R&D and farm advisory services. Its product portfolio encompasses compound feeds, premixes, feed additives, fertilizers, seeds and biologicals, while its service offerings include technical consultancy, lab analysis and digital decision-support tools. The organisation’s cooperative foundation, broad manufacturing and logistical presence, and emphasis on applied research are central to its role as a partner to farmers seeking productive and increasingly sustainable agricultural solutions.
